2021 EMEA Bloomberg Engineering Launch

    • Bloomberg Launch is designed to give candidates the unique opportunity to boost their chances of securing a software engineering role with a global financial technology company such as Bloomberg.
       
      The programme will equip candidates with the knowledge and confidence to demonstrate the skills needed to succeed throughout the recruitment process. Upon successful completion of the programme participants will be guaranteed a first round technical  phone interview with the Bloomberg Engineering team.

      Bloomberg Launch will run virtually from the 31st of August until the 10th of September and will have a 60 min or 90 min webinar each day at 2 pm London Time. You will be required to participate in all webinars.
       
      The programme consists of 8 hours of interactive webinars and workshops. Over the course of two weeks, you will:
       
      • Meet with Bloomberg software engineers to discuss their role, career opportunities, and better understand the impact their work has.
      • Learn the foundations of financial markets through the Bloomberg Market Concepts (BMC), and interactive sessions and activities.
      • Become interview ready with CV best practices and interviewing strategies, led by the recruiting team.

      Applications close on the 19th of August 2021. To be eligible to participate you will need:
      • The ability to start a full time graduate role in 2022 OR be in your second or penultimate year of studying for computer science degree
      • An interest in Technology
      • A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technology subject
      • Programming experience in C, C++, C#, Java or Python is a plus
      The amount of spaces is limited, and we will be progressing only with selected applications following an online Technical Assessment. .
